đď¸10 Rules for NFTs in 2023 | TheReelPhilD
How will we survive the year to come? LG gives his 10 rules, and Phil D hops on for the real time feedback.
Whatâs up everybody, itâs LG Doucet here.
A year ago we were full of scintillating optimism.
Markets were up, Ballerz were pumping, and January 2022 became the most-traded month ever for NFTs. Almost $5B was exchanged on OpenSea alone that month.
I wrote Rules for NFTs in 2022 and they were largely optimistic. In some cases, I even told myself to stack up on certain coins.
Looking back, some were good pieces of self advice, such as donât lose sleep.
But when it comes to #4 âTake risksâ and #8 âStack CryptoââŚ
But despite my terrible guidance, I felt the need to run it back and approach this year with a far more sober outlook.
And to do that, I had to call up one of the communityâs absolute favorite guests:

Listen, Phil is my big brother.
And brothers are supposed to keep you honest. Keep you in check when youâre acting out of line. Bring you down to earth when youâre flying high.
At first, heâs unsure about my list, especially after I read back to him the 2022 edition. But over time he comes to appreciate my hard dose of reality and we cast off for a solid 2023.
My list, as featured on the show:
Rules for 2023
1. Donât fade whatâs hot
2. Your goal: survive
3. Go To an IRL Event
4. Seek fresh perspectives
5. Celebrate small wins
6. Ignore 99% of tokens
7. Play the Brand Game
8. Be Vocal

10. Challenge your own assumptions
Now what does each one actually mean?
Well, youâll just have to listen to the pod đ
