We’ve got a double-entendre of sorts in the header above, as New York Knicks guard Immanuel Quickley was featured in two different rewards over the past couple of days.
The first? As the final challenge for the Summer League (requiring the three in-arena moments and one quest reward):

We also saw an Anthony Edwards debut moment pulled in the Stress Test from @oppa_bp. As someone who hasn’t seen a decent base pack in about 6 months, those are some serious snags! How do you people get so lucky?!

Speaking of Stress Tests… Is NBA Top Shot ramping up for its next big move?
The Top Shot team mentioned that one of the components of Friday’s test was the ability to buy multiple packs:
One thing we're testing is a collector's ability to buy a second pack from a Queue. We have 22K collectors in the Queue, meaning some may have the opportunity to buy a second pack! 👀
But Stress tests are also usually a precursor to a major drop — so maybe the long-awaited Run It Back set is just around the corner?
On this week’s TFM Live Show, Dapper Labs’ Austin Kent seemed confident we’d be getting some major content in the very near future:

The ‘new demographic’ quote the gang referred to about came from this interview with Dapper Labs Head of Partnerships Caty Tedman, and is an interesting one to speculate on.
The WNBA is one potential avenue that came to mind for many users — and would certainly fit the ‘new demographic’ bill. One Britney Griner dunk moment, please!

While Top Shot may feel like it already went ‘viral’, we’re really still at the tip of the iceberg (or in the first inning, or in the dugout, or on the bus to the stadium) when it comes to exposure to the broader NBA fanbase. So to see teams leaning into the platform is pretty damn cool, and likely just the start of what the NBA partnership has to offer.
