🎙️Best of The First Mint 2022
The best clips from the podcast, our top tweets of the year, and a look back at everything that was The First Mint in 2022.
What’s up everybody, it’s LG Doucet here.
The big day is over and the end of the year has arrived
To celebrate the year that was on The First Mint, I’ve put together a recap episode full of memorable clips and big brain guests.
We had a lot of incredible people come on the show this year so believe me when I say it was not easy to curate this down to just 45 minutes.
I’ve broken the episode into three different sections:
The Cycle of Adoption
Jess Sloss | Founder of Seed Club
Marcus Bianshe | Founder of Rumble Kong League
Jayne Peressini | Former GM of Top Shot (I think?)
Dave Fedlman | General Manager of NFL ALL DAY
The Possibilities of Web3
Andrew Steinwold | Host of ZimaRed + Angel Investor
Mack Flavelle | CEO of Big Head Club + Cofounder of Dapper Labs
Jasmine Maietta | Founder of Round21
Prepping For Success
Scott Melker | Founder of TheWolfofAllStreets
Tascha | PhD in Macro Economics
Space Cowboy | Twitter Personality

TOP 10 PODCASTS
It should come as no surprise that all our top episode happened in the first four months of the year.
After all, the bear hit our wallets about mid-May 2020, and who wants to listen to a podcast about NFTs when they’re down about 50%?
But still. we had some bangers all year long, and here are the ones that stood above the rest when it comes to downloads on iTunes and Spotify.

TOP 10 TWITTER SPACES
Crazy stats here - UFC Strike absolutely dominated our Twitter Spaces.
I think its because the actual UFC handle joined for most of them, and we also welcomed incredible guests like Jon Anik to the show.
Here were our most attended Spaces of 2022:

DROP: UFC Strike w/ Jon Anik | February 15

TOP TWEETS
This year The First Mint twitter account generated over 29M impressions!
That’s massive, especially considering that we saw a major crash in the crypto market and that many collectors have left the space.
And for the curious, we generated over 140M impressions in 2021. But not really a fair to compare 2021 to 2022.
Let’s take a look at the best tweets of the year (not including contest tweets):
That’s about it for our data! Thanks for reading, and enjoy the week.
