Whatâs up everybody, itâs LG Doucet here.
Have you heard? The football season started!
If you spend your online time anywhere near the TFM twitter account, you have no doubt seen our constant coverage of the NFL, and Dapper Labsâ latest flagship product, NFL ALL DAY.
Now, Iâve told this story before: I havenât watched the NFL in 10 years. In general, 2012 and the years that followed were a pretty tumultuous time for me. I changed a lot in my life, including my location (I moved out west in 2014) and my habits (stopped spending so much time in front of the TV, started exploring the outdoors).
The years passed, and I would catch a glimpse of a Super Bowl or big playoff game here and there. Some of my fave players retired, others kept playing into their 40s! And I always felt that somewhere, somehow, once Iâd had enough of getting up at 5:00 A.M. to go climb some random peak, I would settle in and start watching football again.
I just didnât know it would happen with a legion of online friends. Or with my brother.
The last few weeks covering NFL ALL DAY have been an absolute pleasure. The team is incredibly responsive, the product is looking very polished (especially with the PLAYBOOK release), and it honestly feels like the product has single handedly brought me back to football.
Connecting with you all on spaces, twitter, and discord has been an absolute thrill. I donât know if weâll ever get back to the early days of Top Shot, but I think the next few weeks are gonna feel pretty damn close to that.
And what better way to kick them off, then with the man running the showâŚ
đTodayâs Pod: Is NFL ALL DAY the Answer to Sports NFTs? | Dave Feldman
Dave is a real one.
A career sports-leaguer, he was quite literally one of the first people to ever message me about The First Mint.
Just as Top Shot was getting into the explosive February of 2021, Dave knew what it all meant. He knew this type of collecting, this whole NFT thing, had the chance to move mountains in the sports world.
Fast forward 19 months, and heâs the General Manager of NFL ALL DAY, having hired up a team of sports marketers across all three major Dapper properties, all geared to do one thing:
Put an NFT in every fanâs wallet.

đICYMI: Why NFTs Will Be So Much Bigger Than We Think
Bear. Bull. Merge.
Andrewâs heard it all before. And heâs even been wrong about a lot of it!
But one take that may hold true is his vision for NFTs becoming the biggest market in the world. And although it might take 10, 20, or maybe even 30 years to happen, itâs a prediction worth exploring.
Especially if youâre still here. Because if you are, it means youâre damn bullish on all this, regardless of the short term woes.
