đď¸ How Premint Is Making NFTs Less Painful | Pod 178
Whatâs up everybody, itâs LG Doucet here.
Thereâs a golden question in NFTs.
I ask myself the question every day, and I also ask most of my guests this question. Itâs a question people ask me when I tell them I âwork in cryptoâ, and itâs a question I think about when Iâm away from the computer and supposed to be thinking of stuff other than NFTs.
Where is it all going?
Thereâs no straight answer here. The NFT boom came out of nowhere, as did its biggest players (i.e. apes). So with no predictable origin, itâs challenging to predict a future, or a final act.
For builders, creators, collectors, traders, and even podcasters like me, the challenge this question poses can easily keep us up at night.
What if Iâm building the wrong thing?
What if people stop caring and buying?
What if it all ends soon?
What if Iâm wrong (again)?
But itâs not like that for everybody. Some people are veteran tech builders, armed with a core mission statement and a drive to constantly seek new problems to solve.
These are the people that worry less, iterate more, and relentlessly attack the industry theyâre in to find that one killer app and gives themselves the best possible chance to skate where the puck is going.
And we got one of them on the show todayâŚ
đ§Todayâs Pod: How Premint Is Making NFTs Less Painful | Brenden Mulligan
Brenden doesnât fuck around.
He built Premint, the primary platform for allowlists in NFTs, and has not stopped iterating since its launch in October 2021.
XCOPY launched on Premint. So did Rug Radio. And so did Moonbirds. And so will many more projects to come.
And even if the donât, Brenden will undoubtedly develop more fantastic tools that simply the NFT world for its creators and consumers.
He is a mission-based builder. His opinions are clear, and his focus even clearer.
This was a solid show, so hope you enjoy it.

đICYMI: Is NFL ALL DAY the Answer to Sports NFTs?
We need to be more bullish on sports NFTs.
I repeat. We need to be more bullish on sports NFTs.
Sports is one of the only true constants in life. There is always another game, there is always the history of past games, and there is always a drive for perfection.
The bull case for sports and web3 is so incredibly obvious, especially to all of us here. Sports are one of the only industries where we constantly vie for fandom; against other teamsâ fans, against fellow fans of our own team, or even just for the success of our favorite club.
Game tickets. First plays. Last plays. Records. Hot takes. Turning Points.
Sports create the types of memories that last a lifetime amongst large groups of people. Youâll never forget where you were when your team won the championship, or how it felt to be in the arena for that one big play.
Now - weâre still a long way off from a full on tokenized sports world. But ALL DAY and Dapper are the ones leading the way here, with an appetite for learning and evolving their products, and we should pay attention.
